M/s. PRASHANT CATERERS (PC), a registered partnership firm, was established in January 1972.The first business venture for PC was a vegetarian restaurant under the name of Samrat Restaurant at Churchgate, Mumbai.

Subsequently, these families also established other business landmark in South Mumbai like Asiatic Department Stores opposite Churchgate Station.

Over the years, Samrat has built a sterling reputation as a top grade vegetarian restaurant specializing in Gujarati and Punjabi cuisine in Mumbai. Noted culinary experts and gourmet consultants have regularly given rave reviews about Samrat in the English and vernacular press.

In view of the growing demand by customers for hosting family functions, business conferences, banquets etc. PC acquired additional premises at Prem Court and started 2 banquet cum conference halls, coined "UMANG" and "UTSAV", in December 1997.

In keeping with the changes in culinary trends, PC established a new restaurant, named Relish, serving vegetarian international cuisine. Relish was started in December 2001 in newly acquired premises adjoining Samrat restaurant. Relish specializes in Italian, Mexican and Continental fare.

In order to cater to the discerning college going crowd and the younger generation executive types working in and around the Churchgate area, PC commenced a cafe style open air coffee shop under the name 210ºC in October 2003. 210°C specializes in pure vegetarian eggless pastries, bakery products, cakes and confectionery.

PC has always been geared to not only maintain and improve its existing establishments, but to also expand in the hospitality services sector. It has built its reputation over the last two decades on impeccable service, extremely hygienic cooking and serving areas, and courteous staff. The partners of PC personally supervise the working of the restaurants and this helps add the personal touch to its service.

In order to cater to the growing demand for Italian and Mexican food, PC has started an international cuisine restaurant, also named "Relish" at Nariman Point, Mumbai, in August 2004. This restaurant is being run under a management contract.
